Smaller and simpler. One CDDR motor can replace a profusion of brackets, guards, belts, tensioners, couplings and other components. In the press feed application, 24 separate transmission components were replaced by one CDDR motor and four bolts. |

Faster and more accurate. A good planetary gearhead has a backlash of 1 arc-minute, which only increases as the gears wear out over time. CDDR motors provide repeatability of 0.7 arc-second. By reducing the potential for positioning errors by a factor of over 60, CDDR technology improves product quality while doubling throughput thanks to faster start/stop times and decreased settling times. |

Reliable and maintenance-free. CDDR motors require no maintenance, so time that would otherwise be spent tensioning belts, lubricating gearboxes and replacing worn components can be reclaimed for production. And with CDDR, there’s no need to match inertia between motor and load, so it’s easy to design your machine using the optimum motor for each application. |
